Bonnieux

Bonnieux’s location is ideal as it is close to several other notable Provençal villages - Lourmarin, Ménerbes, Lacoste, Roussillon, and Gordes. No matter what route you take to arrive, you will see the church tower well before you arrive in Bonnieux.

Dating back to Roman times, this quaint village rests on top of the Luberon hills casting a watchful gaze across the rest of the valley. Enjoy a plethora of delightful restaurants and cafes and stop by the neighboring cedar forest that began with trees imported from North Africa during the Napoleonic era.
